Honda Motor Co.’s Acura luxury division said it will unveil a prototype of its next MDX sport-utility vehicle during the press preview of the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on Jan. 14 and 15.
The company said the vehicle’s appearance reflects what it calls “Aero Sculpture design language” that is a hint of how the 2014 MDX and other future Acura vehicles will look. The new styling is meant to make the MDX more attractive while improving its overall efficiency.
The MDX has been a hit for Acura and has helped define the luxury crossover segment since its introduction more than a decade ago.
